At the beginning of each half term we offer 20 lucky students a place in our specially designed 6 week virtual game design course using the Scratch program.
​
Each session lasts for 30 minutes and resources are provided.

Over the course of 6 weeks, students will cover many aspects of game design including:

Character creation

Level design
-
Understanding basic programming concepts such as loops, conditionals, and variables

Creating simple animations and interactive stories
-
Sprite movement and manipulation
-
Sound effects and background music
-
Basic game mechanics like scorekeeping and level progression

Learning to debug and troubleshoot coding errors
-
Collaborating with others to exchange ideas and feedback
-
Showcasing their projects in a supportive learning environment

Using the Zoom program, each session will be hosted by our Lead Tutor and their assistance will be available throughout. At Game Creators all of our tutors are fully DBS enhanced approved and passionate about gaming.
​
Sessions are held on Mondays and Tuesdays at 16:00 and last for 30 minutes.
