Our Latest Collaboration

We are thrilled to present our latest collaboration, the groundbreaking project called "A Better York," which has brought together an exceptional team of collaborators. This visionary initiative was made possible through the combined efforts of Tang Hall Primary School, the Joseph Rowntree Foundation, the Big Tent Festival and, of course, Game Creators.

Tang Hall Primary School's students played a central role in shaping "A Better York" by designing their imaginative vision for the city's future. Their creativity, innovation, and youthful perspectives served as the driving force behind the project, setting the stage for an exciting and transformative gaming experience.

The Joseph Rowntree Foundation has been instrumental in forging connections and ensuring the success of this collaboration. With their unwavering commitment to community empowerment and social change, the foundation has provided valuable guidance, resources, and support throughout the development of "A Better York." Their dedication to creating fairer and more equitable societies aligns perfectly with the project's objectives.

The Big Tent Festival provided the perfect platform to unveil the students' visionary designs and the immersive gaming experience created by Game Creators. Attendees of the festival had the unique opportunity to witness firsthand the incredible talents and aspirations of the pupils from Tang Hall Primary School.

Together, this exceptional collaboration has resulted in a project that showcases the boundless potential of collective creativity and partnership. "A Better York" stands as a testament to the power of collaboration in creating meaningful change, and we are proud to have these esteemed collaborators on board.

The showcase of the game at the Big Tent Festival was a resounding success, fostering dialogue, sparking inspiration, and igniting a shared passion for shaping a brighter future. The collaboration between JRF, Game Creators, and the Big Tent Festival demonstrated the transformative potential when diverse entities come together to amplify the voices and visions of the youth, creating an immersive and impactful experience for all.
